home weather farm visits contact us our holiday cottages	Matson Ground Farm Windermere    Cumbria ORGANIC BEEF AND LAMB Matson Ground Farm is made up of 420ha of land, of which about 290ha is grazing land.  There are many small woodlands.  All land is entered into a Higher Level  Environmental Stewardship Agreement with DEFRA.   Our sheep flock is made up of 450 Swaledale ewes and 540 mule ewes.  We have 80 suckler cows, mostly beef shorthorn.    We produce organic store and fat lambs, and store and fat beef.  For sales of stock please phone 015394 45756 or info@matsongroundorganic.co.uk We are pleased to offer farm visits to schools and other organised groups - please email us if you are interested.
