Matson Ground Farm comprises
420ha of land,
of which about 290ha is grazing land. The residual is woodland. All
land is entered into a Higher Level Environmental Stewardship Agreement with
DEFRA.
Our sheep flock is made up of 450 Swaledale ewes and 540 mule
ewes. We have 80 suckler cows, mostly beef shorthorn.
Our beef and lamb is slaughtered locally and we have a wide range of
cuts available for free local delivery.
